Nonviolence Legacy Program
The Nonviolence Legacy Program (NLP) was created in 2008 to share the skills, knowledge and wisdom of the nonviolent strategies used by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (Kingian Nonviolence) and others. NLP advocates alternatives to violence by teaching that Nonviolence is a courageous lifestyle. In 2021 NLP began work on social justice issues with the emphasis on housing. We continue to serve our Community with food and clothing distributions in collaboration with our partners. With Veterans for Peace, we plan to offer Kingian Nonviolence and Healing of Memories workshops and training sessions to veterans on college and university campuses. "Each One, Teach One!"
