Tucson Youth & Peace & The Annual Youth & Peace Conference
Tucson Youth and Peace (TYP) is a peace leadership training program for youth and young adults (ages 12-24) that includes the Annual Youth & Peace Conference (YPC). The Annual YPC started in 2012 as a youth-led event introducing & exploring diverse peace practices and issues of concern to youth through workshops, speakers, performances, dialogue circles & a resource fair. Each Annual YPC is planned & presented collaboratively by a Youth Leadership Team and an Adult Logistics Team. The 14th Annual YPC is scheduled for a new timeslot in the school year – Feb. 6, 2026.
