I moved to the southeast Phoenix valley from my home state of Michigan
during the summer of 2021. I resided in southeast Michigan until
relocating to AZ. I retired from the State of Michigan, Department of
Education in 2017, following 15 years of employment there. Past
employment included 25 years as a social worker in multiple mental
health settings with children, families and adults, both in direct
service and in program administration. I became actively involved with
the Michigan Poor People’s Campaign in late 2017. In early 2022 I
engaged with others in Arizona to reorganize the Arizona Poor People’s
Campaign (AZ PPC). I continue to serve as a member of the AZ PPC
Coordinating Committee and joined with COPA as a member of the Finance
Committee and the COPA Council during the summer, 2022.
